When setting up your rigs it can be easy to think that something like a cheek puff should just be done fast so you can move on to something else or more important.  But in most cases it is actually a big mistake to neglect the simple things in your rig. Also adding a cheek puff needs to been smooth weights and what should you think about when you do these things? Take a look in this lecture where a workflow is put out and tells you to think about the big forms and then later make sure all vertex are deforming the mesh the way you want it. Making sure that all vertex have a purpose is something most starting riggers forget.
